eGO Receives Generous Donation

Everybody knows that it's donations that keep us afloat, and every donation is valued and appreciated. And, although the rumors of our growing wealth are too ridiculous to comment on, we HAVE received a serious shoring up recently.

Milwaukee, one of your COD4 leaders, has generously donated an amount that nearly pays the bills for an entire month. We don't mean to embarrass him by pointing this out, but news like this should be shared with the entire organization.

When you see Milwaukee in the halls of eGO give him a pat on the back and say "thank you" for his support of this great clan.

Also, IF Milwaukee wins the raffle....duh! He's got about a quarter of the tickets!

If don't have DoD:S. . . I would suggest you spit out 10 bucks for the game. JUST for this map. Its AWESOME!! Btw everyone in eGO should have DoD:S. Its a great game.

All the old timers which enjoyed DOD 3.1 beta will be happy to see we are now running a 24/7 Caen server.

This is a large classic map with tons of hiding points. Be prepared to work as a team on this map! If you like Donner, you more than likely will like this one also.



Since this is a big map, we made an auto installer for a faster download and setup. You can still join the server and have it download while in Steam, but that could take up to 10 minutes.

Take advantage of the auto installer and download by clicking the icon.

ROME

Are you interested in building an Empire? Then eGO is the place for you! Besides building our own version of Rome we have some friends in Sweden at a Game Company called Paradox Interactive that has built a successful series of empire building games called Europa Universalis.

They asked us to give away several copies of the ROME episode to deserving eGO members.

Prince Abu has already won one copy of the game by knowing that it was Artimus who named EdgeGamers and eGO.

One Copy will be given way to a member in the banner contest.

That leaves a couple of more to spread around. Over the next week or so we are going to pick some more people to get a copy of this awesome Strategy Game!
